About Etch

We built the missing bridge.

Etch by OMIMI exists to turn stolen hours into sustainable careers and risky bets into reliable hits by creating a protected, premium meeting point for creators and producers.

Our story

Why Etch?

The entertainment industry is often framed through glamour, but behind the scenes we saw a fractured system. Creatives were losing time, income, and sometimes their original vision. Producers were drowning in unvetted material and carrying enormous development risk.

The industry was asking writers to be merchants and producers to be magicians. Neither side was winning. Etch was designed as both sanctuary and filter.

The creatives' struggle

From early-morning writing sessions around survival jobs to feast-or-famine income, too much talent remains underprotected, underpaid, and unread.

The producers' challenge

Studios and executives are tasked with feeding a relentless content pipeline while sorting through inconsistent, unvetted submissions with high financial stakes.

The aha moment

At both ends of the spectrum, we saw the same problem reflected back: quality work and quality opportunity were failing to meet each other efficiently.

What we solve

The problems we solve.

1

The vetting gap

We reduce wasted discovery time by positioning production-ready work at the center.

2

The creative erosion

We protect the blueprint so the artist's original spark is not diluted too early.

3

The pipeline paralysis

We shorten the distance from option to action with a more direct, secure workflow.

4

The transaction anxiety

Escrow-led flows and licensing structure reduce ambiguity across negotiation and payout.
